New 2021 Student Chapter E- Board

Tessa Nestasia, PRESIDENT

Hi everyone! My name is Tessa Nestasia, and I am the President of the University of New Haven’s student ASID chapter. I am a current senior at UNH in the Interior Design program with a concentration in Pre-Architecture. I have been a part of ASID since my freshman year and have served on our E-Board as treasurer and president-elect for the past two years as well. I am interested in commercial design with a possibility of specifically going into Health Care design. I love the opportunity that this organization gives to students, and I am excited to be attending events again this coming year!

Olivia Powers, VICE PRESIDENT

Olivia is a senior at the University of New Haven, and will be completing her bachelor’s degree in interior design this spring. On campus she is the Vice President of the ASID Connecticut Student Chapter, as well as student representative for the Connecticut ASID Chapter. She has found great joy in learning from her academic peers and internship experiences she has had. Any free time she gets, she loves to spend time on the Cape with her friends, family and two dogs.

Hello ASID members! My name is Zachary Ferrauolo and I am a Junior Interior Design major at the University of New Haven. I serve as the Executive Assistant of the UNH student chapter of ASID. I am interested in residential interior design, and have been a lover of kitchens and bathrooms for a long time. I am eager to meet and learn from more professionals in the field as I continue my design journey.

Hi everyone! My name is Madison Bayles and I am a sophomore in the interior design program at the University of New Haven. I am so excited to have received the opportunity to oversee communications this year for the interior design club! The past five years of studying graphic design has shaped me into the individual I am today in the world of art and design, opening windows that have expanded my horizons. I can't wait to see what the future has in store as I continue turning my passion into a profession!
